Deputy Foreign Minister Meets Kazakh Foreign Minister
ASTANA – Deputy Foreign Minister Adela Raz met with the Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov in Astana, Kazakhstan on Sep 6, 2018.
At the outset, Ms. Raz thanked Kazakhstan for its cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields and expressed her appreciation for holding and hosting the regional conference on empowering women in Afghanistan. She also called the Republic of Kazakhstan one of the important partners of Afghanistan.
Likewise, Ms. Raz called the empowerment of women one of the priority programs of the Afghan Government and considered this conference an important step in the way towards attracting regional support for implementation of women empowerment programs.
Both sides talked about how to strengthen and develop economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan and exchanged views on regional cooperation. They called such cooperation very important for the stability of the region.
Mr. Kairat expressed his assurance of continuous cooperation of Kazakhstan with Afghanistan and emphasized economic empowerment of women in Afghanistan.
