Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of French Republic to Kabul
KABUL - Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E Salahuddin Rabbani received the newly-appointed ambassador of French Republic Mr. François Resher to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning.
At the outset, Foreign Minister welcomed Mr. Resher and while wishing him success in his new position, expressed hope that during his mission as Ambassador, the friendly relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and France will further extend. In addition to his speaks Foreign Minister called French Republic an old friend which have a special place with the government and people of Afghanistan, and thanked for the valuable cooperation of that country with Afghanistan in different times, especially in the last one and a half decade.
Afterwards, Mr. Resher expressed happiness for his appointment in this position, promised that He will spent all his efforts in order to strengthen relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Resher also assured the continued commitment of cooperation of the French republic with Afghanistan.
In this meeting, Foreign Minister gave information to the newly-appointed ambassador of the French Republic on recent achievements and priorities of the government of Afghanistan, especially in the field of economic development of the country.
