47 Coins from the Greco-Bactrian and the Kushanian Eras Returned to the National Museum

KABUL – A British Coin Specialist, Professor Mcdowal, have returned 47 silver and 6 copper coins, which he had kept in his personal collection. These coins are related to the Greco-Bactrian and the Koshanid Eras. Mr. Mcdowal has returned these coins to the national museum through Cultural Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

According to Mr. Mcdowal the silver coins have been found from the outskirts of Gardez and copper ones from Khost Provinces of Afghanistan in 1974.
