Acting Foreign Minister Received Pakistani Ambassador


KABUL – Acting Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman received Ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul Mr. Zahed Nasrullah Khan.

During this meeting, both sides talked on a series of issues like recent developments in Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf’s trial, bilateral cooperation in consulate affairs, and the APAPPS Meeting to be held in the middle of January this year.

They also discussed Afghan delegation’s trip to Islamabad related to legal dispute of the Afghan-Market in Peshawar.

The Acting Foreign Minister talked about the Afghan President’s vision for extending regional economic and transport cooperation and Pakistan’s place in his vision.

Pointing at the 7- Point Peace Plan of the Afghan government, both sides expressed their hope that the new phase of peace talks could bring a sustainable and permanent peace in Afghanistan.
