Deputy Foreign Minister Meets UK’s State Minister for Asia and the Pacific
LONDON – Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mr. Idrees Zaman met with Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific of the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr. Mark Field.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Zaman noted with appreciation the cooperation of Britain with Afghanistan in various spheres during the last 17 years. He deemed the role of UK in upgrading the capacity of Afghanistan’s defense and security forces, as significant.
The two sides discussed upcoming Kabul Process III meeting, upcoming Presidential Elections, and Afghan-led and Afghan-owned Peace Process.
