Foreign Ministry Statement Regarding Pakistani Ambassador’s Recent Remarks
KABUL – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan appreciates efforts made by any country in support of realizing peace in Afghanistan.
Principles of Foreign Policy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan are shaped by ‘good neighborliness’, ‘mutual respect’ and ‘non-interference in the Internal Affairs of other countries’.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has always wanted a reduction in any tension in the region, and the differences to be resolved through dialogue and peaceful means. The Government of the Islamic Republic Afghanistan once again calls on Pakistan to act upon its commitments with regards to Afghanistan, particularly those in relation to peace and refrain from making irrelevant statements that do not help solve any problem.
